StringPress is a string recording, composition & custom music outfit founded by Niamh Fahy (composer / violinist ) and Kevin Butler ( composer / recording engineer / multi-instrumentalist). StringPress provides both live session recording and remote recording with options ranging from solo violin to ensemble tracks. StringPress music provides full service custom music for TV, film & web, with an emphasis on real orchestral instrumentation. StringPress music has been involved in track placements in Castle Rock (Hulu), Californication (Showtime), Run the Race (Reserve Entertainment), 16 and Pregnant (11th Street Productions)
Niamh , who is originally from Ireland, has been a professional violinist for the past 12 years. She has enjoyed a varied career both as a recording & touring musician. Most notably she toured extensively with Riverdance having performed as one of their soloists for 5 years. Recording credits include The Tony Rich Project, Emily Wolfe, Corre, Theodore, Quiet Company, Reddening West & Lee Bozeman
Kevin has been a producer, recording, mixing & mastering engineer since 2002. His work credits include Joshua Radin, Quiet Company, Blue October, Cody Bryan, IAMDYNAMITE, Reed Turner, Young Tongue & Black Books. He has been composing music for TV since 2009, with a client list that includes GM, Nike, Chase Bank & Exxon. You can check out his work here.
